 Green May in beautiful Strážovské vrchy This year, Strážovská 50 was again sold out in one hour, despite the fact that it was not the first race of the Slovak Ultra Trail series this season and it was not even the first spring race. The thirteenth of May promised all kinds of conditions, but Ľubka and Rado ordered dry weather and pleasant running temperatures. They also mentioned something about some mud, but fortunately, it didn't arrive in time and so we could enjoy a beautiful run through the nature of Strážovské vrchy undisturbed by anything. Me and Majka start our usual, already well-rehearsed classics - arrival in Trenčianske Teplice on Friday evening, accommodation (this time it was Guest House Lívia - I recommend, lots of music for little money), high-carb dinner, beer, chat with fellow runners - so it could be summed up in 5F : Friyay, Food (this time we had pasta), Fun, Friends, Fast asleep.  Autumn ultra-fairytale in Javorníky In October, a beautiful colorful autumn came and when Rado posted photos of the J100 route marking on FB, I involuntarily drooled like Pavlov's dog and my fate was sealed: I will take a lot more photos than run (because other times I run an awful lot and don't take photos at all 😂). The forecast promised us a beautiful day, and indeed it was. That's what happens when magical autumn meets a beautiful Indian summer. I conceived the Javornícka 100 as an opportunity to confirm whether I can run a hundred. Whether the Malofatranská and Hriňovská ones were not just some flights of fancy. And if I could run a hundred four weeks after the last one. I, an ultra beginner in her 45, still (or already) need more time to recover after something like that. We'll see, I'll make up for it somehow, after all, it's the last race of the season 😀 and I was looking forward to a long day spent outdoors, in the company of similarly twisted people...
